Plans for Brampton to create its own power supply could be about to move forward.

Community group Brampton and Beyond has proposals to install an anaerobic digestion plant, which breaks down waste and turn it into fuel in the Townfoot Industrial Estate.

The part of the group responsible for this idea named Brampton and Beyond Energy is now inventing the public to have their say on the idea.

Tim Coombe the Babe chairman said: "We are holding a public meeting on Thursday, February 6 in the community center to share our so far and hopefully in return receive positive feedback and support."

BRAMPTON and BEYOND ENERGY Ltd. invite you to a meeting on Thursday 6th Feb. 2014 at 6.45p.m. in The Irthing Centre.

We are a new, community based, energy company intending to produce sustainable energy for the benefit of the community. We would welcome your feedback on our renewable energy plans and on a specific project we are developing for the Brampton area.
